James Harden is coming off his best pro season yet.

"The Beard" was runner-up for MVP, and was chosen to be on the cover of NBA Live '18. The superstar guard was also awarded the biggest contract extension in NBA history: $228 million for four years.

And now, with the NBA season around the corner, Harden's body (and beard) seems to be in mid-season form:

The Houston Rockets have also made some major adjustments this off-season. The team traded for one of the league's greats, Chris Paul, to play alongside Harden. These two have been seen playing together multiple times this summer, and both look hungry and ready to take on the league. Only time will tell if the tandem pays off, as it has a big task on opening night against the defending-champion Golden State Warriors.

But one thing's for sure: Harden looks ready.
