Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo had a year for the ages in 2016-17.

The Real Madrid forward led his club to the Champions League title for the second straight year, and helped win the La Liga championship in Spain.

On top of that, Ronaldo led Portugal to its first European Championship with a victory over France at Euro 2016.
