Here's your first look at shredded Josh Brolin as Cable in new 'Deadpool 2' photos

Deadpool’s going to have some seriously muscular backup in his new movie.

Actor Ryan Reynolds shared the first look at Josh Brolin as Cable in Deadpool 2, the highly anticipated sequel hitting theaters in 2018. Brolin responded by putting the photos on his Instagram and adding the comment: "Now offering 25 percent off your next autopsy. ☠️ #youremine #deadpool.”

Brolin has been sharing photos and video of his training to get jacked to play Cable, and the results have been, well, pretty damn fantastic:

Cable’s character is known for his bionic arm, scarred eye, and (in case this isn't obvious from the posts) tons of guns and ammo.

Brolin isn’t the only one joining the team for Deadpool 2--Zazie Beetz is set to play Domino. Reynolds also shared the first look at her character in costume:

After the first Deadpool movie generated record box-office numbers, the sequel has become the hottest upcoming superhero movie release not named Avengers: Infinity War.

Deadpool 2 is set for a June 1, 2018 release date.
