We're a month away from the release of Thor: Ragnarok, the flick featuring a new-look Thor, the Hulk, and, of course, yet another Marvel battle for the ages.

Quick plot recap: Jettisoned into an unfamiliar world without his hammer, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) calls on his Avenger-ally-turned-gladiatorial-opponent, the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), to stop the oncoming Ragnarok—aka the destruction of his homeland incurred by Asgardian death goddess Hela (Cate Blanchett).

Ragnarok falls in the middle of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Timeline. (Phase 1 included landmark pictures such as Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk, while Phase 2 featured Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man.) Both of the previous phases resulted in Avengers epics as the main events.

Phase 3 follows that pattern, and as has become common practice for Marvel movies, Ragnarok will showcase a who's-who of Marvel all-stars, including Doctor Strange.

Of course, Ragnarok's main attraction will be the showdown between Thor and Hulk, followed by their unlikely partnership. Take a look at the action-packed Marvel movie in the three-minute, brand-new TV spot:
